You may notice that some of the prices in our shop are changing gradually. We wanted to take a moment to explain why.
The vast majority of our stock was originally priced between 2012 and 2020, when we first started our online shop. Since then, the cost of living, postage, packaging, supplies and the general cost of doing business have increased significantly. However, many of our products have continued to carry their original prices for well over a decade.
As we are currently working through a full stocktake, we have realised just how many of our prices are still based on what things cost 10 or more years ago. In many cases, the current price no longer reflects the value of the item or the costs involved in replacing and selling it today.
For this reason, we are gradually reviewing and updating our prices so that they are more in line with today’s costs and inflation. We are doing this slowly rather than changing everything at once, and some products may remain at their original prices for a while longer.
We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding. We have kept our prices unchanged for as long as we possibly could, and we hope that giving you an explanation makes these changes understandable.

### A Small Progress Update
As part of this process, I have now worked through and updated **all of the sub-categories beginning with A and B**.
There is still a long way to go, as the shop contains many years’ worth of stock and pricing, but I am working through everything carefully and gradually.
If you come across products that haven’t yet been updated, they are simply waiting their turn. I appreciate your patience while I work through the shop and bring the older prices into line with today’s costs.
